Pro-Bono Pregnancy Anti-Smoking Magazine Ad

     The images here were made as part of a mock pro-bono project.  In designing this project I tried to ask myself, "What would I be perfectly happy doing for free?".  This is not to say that I would be content getting paid for making work that I was morrally opposed to, but this was subject matter that I felt was so important that just making it was it's own reward.
     These ads and posters were designed as a promotion for a computer science interim at Calvin College.  Science fiction movie posters were references along with computer science language and Asian imagery to catch attention and reach an audience of computer science students.      After creating a wedding program for my wife and I.  I was asked to do more for other people.  So far I've only done two additional programs, but each one has been an opportunity to be experimental and creative and to make an effort to give the bride and groom what little I can on their special day.  Both couples have told me afterwords that having me work on their programs for them has allowed them more time to concentrate on the other aspects of the wedding.
     Images here are a collection of concepts and smaller projects done for practice or assignments for classes.  Most of these were done to practice using the tools and functions of photoshop and to a smaller degree those of Illustrator.
